Recently I knew a friend due to the Taipei International Book Exhibition, and we get along with each other pretty well! Yesterday he gave a KA-BAR as a wonderful gift. KA-BAR is a legend of US Marines, also a part of history of USMC. I am so glad to receive this KA-BAR becoming a part of my collections. In the large photo, you also can see my another knife collection - an Al Mar combat knife. For more detail information about KA-BAR, please check http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/KA-BAR and for the company of KA-BAR at https://www.kabar.com/index.jsp
Welcome to my blog! I like to tell stories with images. Hope you enjoy these photos! 歡迎光臨我的部落格,我喜歡用影像說故事,希望你喜歡。為什麼內文用英文? 因為.....我懶....

A TRIP TO I-LAN

I took a 2-day trip to I-Lan(located in eastern Taiwan) in late Dec. 2006; visited National Traditional Art and Culture Center and stayed at a nice hotel. It was quite joyful trip. On the way back to Taipei, we drove through the Snow Mountain Tunnel which is the longest tunnel in Asia.

JUICER PLAN - MEETING MR. RANGE MURATA

Because of Wacom's inviting, I had a chance to meet a very famous Japanese artist, Range Murata. Murata-san is quite a creative and friendly person. I took a photo with him during the welcome dinner (but Murata-san is shy, so I do not show this picture). Also, I asked him to sign on my pen tablet after his demo; here is the photo of the Wacom Intuos3 pen tablet with a cute Murata-san's signature on it; what a great collection!!!!

NYPD ESU ON WALL STREET

My wife took this photo few days ago. It shows two NYPD ESU (Emergecy Service Unit) members patrolling on Wall Street. They were wearing MICH and bullet-proof vests. Both of the ESU members carried Colt M4A1 rifles with red-dot sights; one even with Surefire combat light.
After 911, the ESUpatrolling in Wall St. became a part of routine job.
Maybe they will carry HK416 or HK G36 in the near future.
